Bandhavgarh National Park, nestled in North India, experiences the rhythmic dance of the monsoon, accompanied by distinct winter and summer seasons.
In the scorching summers, from end March to end June, temperatures soar up to 44°C (111°F), peaking in May and June. The onset of mid-June brings sudden rains, catching visitors by surprise.
As winters set in around mid-November until the end of February, the park transforms into a cold haven. Bracing against the biting cold, visitors don multiple layers for protection. Temperatures can plummet to as low as 2°C (35.6°F), and frost forms in the open marshy hollows. Since park vehicles are open, it is crucial to wear exceptionally warm clothes to combat the chilling wind.
