Explore Cape Town, South Africa’s Mother City! You’ll experience all the breathtaking sights, great vibe and melting pot of cultures. Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and boasts the country’s top five attractions, which can be visited all year round. Well known sights like Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens and Robben Island are all well worth a visit. Great wine, fantastic food and excellent value for money add to the overall experience. A highly comfortable and relaxing South Africa tour, with a choice of luxury or a bit more basic, yet ALWAYS centrally and relevantly situated accommodation.
Bordering the Kruger National Park and situated between the Timbavati and the Sabi Sand Reserves, lies the Manyeleti Game Reserve which encompasses 23,000 hectares of land. The Manyeleti Reserve is home to our two tented camps – Mantobeni Camp & Khoka Moya Camp.Each camp offers breath-taking wildlife experiences, including the Big Five, superb cuisine and service excellence. Under the profound knowledge and experience of our rangers
and trackers, you will experience 2 daily game drives; morning & evening. This allows you the opportunity of 2 varied experiences during your time with Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps. As we are only one of 3 lodges on the Manyeleti Game Reserve, we are extremely proud of our game drives for the experience our guests receive and for the unique fact that you will not sight many other vehicles / persons whilst on your game drive.
Arrive at Cape Town International Airport. Meet and Greet on arrival by The Earth Safari representatives and get transferred to your hotel. Today you will be taken on a half day City Orientation Tour. Set against the spectacular backdrop of Table Mountain, Cape Town is rich in historical and cultural heritage and natural beauty. Some of the highlight stops on this tour will be the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the lively GreenmarketSquare – where you can purchase arts and crafts from all over Africa. You will also take a trip through the colourful Bo Kaap area, known as the home of the “Cape Malays”. Weather permitting; there is an option of a trip up Cape Town’s landmark, Table Mountain or a tour to Robben Island (Own Account). The remainder of the day will be spent at leisure at the vibrant V&A Waterfront, which offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment.
We recommend you have dinner in this tranquil setting.
Activities: Half day sightseeing tour of Cape Town. Duration 4.5 hrs. Start from your hotel at either 08h30 or 13h15. It can be swapped to Day 4 if your arrival time is too late for the tour to take place.

After breakfast we head out for a full day excursion to the magnificent scenery and wildlife of the Cape Peninsula. This tour offers a boat trip to Duiker Island (Own Account) and later a lunch in the cosy Naval village of Simon's Town (Own Account). We travel from Cape Town city along the Atlantic Seaboard to Hout Bay. Here you can visit Duiker Island (own account) where thousands of Cape Fur Seals live. From here travel via Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Take a family photo at the most south western tip of the African continent and enjoy an invigorating walk, or leisurely funicular trip (own account), up to the Cape Point lighthouses to admire the dramatic cliffs and amazing views. From Cape Point
travel along the False Bay coast, stopping at Boulders Beach to see one of South Africa's two landbased African Penguin colonies. This tour then continues back towards Cape Town, and your day ends at the beautiful Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens. The evening is at leisure.

Full day Wine Tour in the Cape Winelands including a visit to the charming town of oaks, Stellenbosch. After some wine tastings and an introduction to the South African winemaking tradition, we continue to the Gourmet Capital of South Africa, Franschhoek. After another round of wine tasting, there will be time to take a stroll in this beautiful and cozy little town. The whole day is dedicated to showing clients our favorite secret spots and wine cellars – a day to tantalize their taste buds in some of South Africa’s most beautiful landscapes!

The day is at leisure; You have the option to spend the time relaxing, enjoy some great shopping or take an exciting optional excursion. Or, if you didn’t have the opportunity to do the included Cape Town sightseeing tour on day 1, now is the time!
As for optional excursions, choices include an enlightening Township Tour, a tour of Table Mountain, a trip to Robben Island, a cruise around Table Bay or an exciting helicopter flip. The possibilities in, and around, Cape Town are endless. Optional Excursions can be pre-booked before arrival.

Timely transfer to Cape Town International Airport in time to connect with your onward flight to
Hoedspruit. (Flight not Included)
Upon arrival, you will be met by The Earth Safari representative and transferred by road to this exclusive reserve.
Once the standard check in procedures are completed, you will be informed about the day activities
before been shown through to your room.
Lunch served upon arrival (time permitting)
At around 4:30pm, everyone gathers for a decadent high tea, before heading out with your ranger and tracker for the afternoon game drive through the reserve. En route, you’ll stop for a sundowner drink and will have a chance to stretch your legs as you watch the sun set over the distant peaks of the Drakensberg mountains.
As darkness falls, the nocturnal animals of the bush come out. The skilled tracker will scan the landscape using a spotlight, which illuminates animals’ eyes. A variety of completely different species can be seen on the night drive back to the lodge. Arrival is at the lodge is usually around 7pm, allowing time to freshen up before enjoying a sumptuous dinner.

5:30am: Guests are awoken with the beating of traditional drums. Tea / coffee is then served to
each tent before guests meet at reception to go on their game drive.
6:00am: Morning game drive – duration 3 hours approx. Snack & tea / coffee offered during the
game drive.
9:30am: Breakfast. During the course of breakfast, guests will be offered the opportunity of
partaking in a Bush Walk with a ranger/s pending the number of pax interested. The Bush Walk is
strictly for persons aged 16 years and older.
2:00pm: Lunch.
4:00pm: Afternoon game drive – duration 3 hours approx. Snack & soft drinks, tea / coffee offered
during the game drive.
8:00am: Dinner. This is a plated meal with the guests sitting outside (weather dependent) and
having a communal dinner with other guests & the rangers. The chef will present the menu to all
guests once seated.

You can either have an early morning rise and enjoy your last game drive, to spot the wildlife you weren’t able to spot so far on your safari, or have a lazily morning before its time for your transfer. Transfer from Manyeleti Game Reserve through to Hoedspruit Airport, in time to connect with your onward flight.
